We start at age 5 if the child can sit still for half an hour. Most parents wait until 6 or 7 — there's no rush.

Yes — enrolments are accepted any time. Most kids settle in within a class or two thanks to mixed-ability grouping.

Class tournaments run every week so kids learn the format early. When they're ready, Kheminda handles entries to Victorian Interschool and other regional events.
